First of all, this is a character journal, for the character by the name of Xsaiavlairnn. Currently this character (and subsequently, the journal) are placed within the setting of the game Guild Wars 2. The character is mine, but the game is not.
That said, as far as rp goes, this is
an OOC-knowledge-only journal, unless Xsaiavlairnn shares it in game. He has a
very strong penchant for secrets, and this is where he keeps some of his. That
said, I like writing down characters' thoughts, and I enjoy reading journals of
other characters, so it's mostly here for any potential OOC enjoyment that can
be had from seeing what the creepy sylvari is really thinking. That and
helping me sort that out sometimes
too.
While
this is OOC knowledge, the book is something I will consider an IC item! That
is, if someone is brave enough to try and take it from Xsaiavlairnn (which he really wouldn't be happy about) they can
attempt. Concerning that, this is a book he keeps with him nearly at all times,
often hanging from his side on a belt (those vines come in useful) or in any
bags he's carrying. The chaos ward on it will affect anyone who touches it that
isn't skilled enough to nullify chaos magic, and will make the holder
disoriented and dizzy at the least, nauseous and near fainting at worst. It will also somewhat crackle and may 'sting' someone unsuspecting who picks up the book. Additionally, when opened, the words on the
page will look like a chaotic mess of warped swirls. This secondary ward is an
illusion enchantment, but if one doesn't know it's there, it would be hard to
dispel.
Consider the entirety of the book private unless stated otherwise.
