[This entry is in fact a loose sheet of paper that's since been handed to Xsaiavlairnn and tucked into his journal. The writing is different than the rest of the script (much neater than the last few entries) and takes up a space of its own in the book.]
52 - Zephyr - 1327
William has decided to hold a training session for those who desire the practice. As of yet Androsace, Nenia, and Renswerth have all agreed to participate. Renswerth and Androsace started things off with with a warm-up spar against each other. They used their blades for the training exercise. Androsace has kept Renswerth off his feet quite thoroughly. She has easily taken the upper hand.
Alyss came by and joined in watching the training. Androsace was distracted by her and Renswerth punchedher Androsace. Not Alyss.
Renswerth got in close enough to turn the fight to his favor but Androsace hit him with her blade pommel. Now they've forgone both their weapons and [the pen trails off.]
They punched each other and both wound up on the floor. There was a crack. I think something broke.
Renswerth's nose broke but he fixed it.
William wants to know what Androsace learned about the way Renswerth fights from that. Renswerth tends towards fighting close quarters (which makes sense, because daggers are not long) and is willing to take an opportunity to catch an opponent by surprise--even forgoing his weapons to do so. I do not know what Renswerth learned of Androsace. I thought that she was heavier handed in the fight, but also with a more solid strength. I would not want her to break my nose.
Both Androsace and Renswerth have stepped aside to recover. They went farther than their spar than Will meant for them to. I hope Renswerth was in well enough shape for that.
Now Will is having Nenia display her abilities with a one-handed sword against him.
She tripped and hit him with her staff by accident. They appear to be all right.
Her successive swings are going better. [a small blot of ink as he considers what to put down.]
Will has ended the formal training here. He is continuing to work with Nenia personally, it seems.
